Hot Tub Cover

My Protagonist is a journalist and she is on an assignment on a new luxury cruise ship writing a review about the new ship. Then on the last day when she is at the spa she discovers a dead womans body in a hot tub. The woman happens to be the wife of a powerful wealthy guy. Now I dont know where to go next with the story. Can someone give me some suggestions or something to get me thinking please? I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Oh and the main setting for my plot is set in Los Angeles if that helps any.
Okay this is suposed to be suspense with no paranormal stuff. The guy isnt old either.
