Where does this hot tub hose go?, Part 2 (Ozonator)?

Dr. Hot Tub gave me a good answer regarding what a stray connector tube is for in my hot tub — the ozonator. However, I can’t find the ozonator — where is it in relationship to my other devices (the motor, the heater, etc.). See photo:

Finding the Best Hot Tub Price to Fit Your Budget

Which Hot Tub is Right for You? Portable Inflatable Hot Tub, Used Hot Tub or Mounted Hot Tub?

So you are in the market for purchasing a hot tub. Have you compared hot tub prices and decided which is right for you? Are you willing to spend between $5000 and $19000 for a brand new continuous cast acrylic shell? Maybe you are thinking about purchasing a used hot tub for much less, around $2500, and forgoing the warranty? Perhaps you are a bit more frugile and are looking at inflatable hot tubs coming in at a price range of $600-$3500? No matter which option you decide fits your budget, you need to consider hot tub chemicals to keep your water clean and bacteria free. Also be prepared for the “minor” breakdowns (including pumps, filters, or perhaps a torn cover) that are quite frequent for hot tub owners and should be considered when choosing the right hot tub price for your budget.

About Portable Inflatable Hot Tubs:

These are a relatively new invention and are just perfect for the frugile buyer. Inflatable hot tubs are extremely light (compared to a mounted unit anyway) and can be moved easily from place to place. Portable inflatable hot tubs can also be taken camping if you feel the need. Perfect for the first time hot tub owner or anyone who wants the convenience of a portable hot tub. The inflatable hot tub price begins at $600 for a “bare bones” model that only fits two people, and the hot tub price rises to $3500 or more for the deluxe models that fit 4 or more persons. I suggest checking a number of hot tub manufacturers before purchasing any inflatable hot tub, as they can vary widely in pricing and warranties.

Ever Popular Used Hot Tubs:

If you are the adventurous type, you might try picking up a used hot tub. They can be found here and there, online and offline, but regardless of where you find one, you will be facing the same problems. These tubs do not come with a guarantee or warranty, so if anything happens you are responsable for the cost. If you have bought a used hot tub that ends up with a cracked shell you could be looking at thousands of dollars in shipping and repair bills, so I will leave it to you to decide if this is the right hot tub price for you…

Traditional Mounted Hot Tubs:

Mounted hot tubs are definitly the better of the different types of hot tubs, these types of models seat more people, you never have to look for a plug-in (after initial installation) and can be as simple as turning it on and getting in. These heavy units come at a hefty price. If you want the absolute top of the line you will need to spend close to twenty grand, uninstalled! If money is no object then you will find these to be the perfect fit with all their amenities. You can reduce the price of your new hot tub by getting rid of some of the amenities and shopping factory direct, they will pretty much customize a tub to fit your needs and the hot tub price will be much more reasonable than that of a dealer. There are however disadvantages to purchasing factory direct, they may not install your new hot tub when it is delivered, or worse yet…they may hire out the delivery and installation. This would make having repairs made a nightmare. On the other hand, dealers often change hot tub manufacturers, which could mean getting repairs in your home town next to impossible. In both instances you could end up paying thousands in repair bills, not to mention shipping costs.

Regardless of which model or price you decide is right for you, please make sure you check out lots of  hot tub reviews  before purchasing, this will help you choose the hot tub manufacturer that best suits your personal hot tub needs

Inflatable Hot Tub Reviews: Why Not Consider an Inflatable Hot Tub?

If you’ve been thinking about getting a hot tub, chances are you talked yourself out of it for one reason or another. The vast majority of people would love to have a hot tub, but they think itís too expensive to install. If you’re in this majority, why not consider an inflatable hot tub? Yes, that’s right…an inflatable hot tub. Most people have never even heard of them, much less considered buying one.

What exactly is an inflatable hot tub and what advantages does it offer you over a traditional hot tub? Let’s look at the basics.

First of all an inflatable hot tub is a fraction of the cost of a regular one. Most people could afford to buy one today with the cash in their bank account instead of having to use financing or use credit cards like they would with a regular hot tub. This means that many more people can get their hands on a hot tub than previously believed. This opens the door to people of all ages and incomes to have a hot tub in their possession.

Another huge advantage of an inflatable hot tub is the portability. You can take it with you wherever you go. If you have an electrical outlet and a little bit of space on the ground, you’ve got yourself the capability to put a hot tub there. You could take it over to your buddy’s house for the big game and then take it back home with you if you want. There really is no reason why you can’t put an inflatable hot tub anywhere. You can even put it inside your house if you want.

The inflatable hot tub is also extremely easy to set up. You can probably set it up in 10-15 minutes. You just fill it up with a garden hose and plug it in. You’re now officially ready to enjoy your hot tub. It will probably take a few minutes for the water to heat up, but beyond that, you’re ready. If you’ve been considering a hot tub, add an inflatable hot tub to your list of considerations.

Poway Hot Tubs And Spas, Portable Hot Tubs In Poway California.wmv

www.PowayHotTubsAndSpas.com 858-571-9020 Don’t Buy a Hot Tub in Poway, CA Until You Read This FREE SPECIAL REPORT – “10 Insider Secrets to Getting The Best Deal on a Hot Tub or Spa in Poway, California”

Replacement Hot Tub Covers

The main reason for Hot Tub Covers keep debris from blowing into your spa water while you’re not using your hot tub.

Secondly, Hot Tub Covers are supposed to help insulate the water from the outside so your spa water stays toasty warm while using less energy.

In the dawn of the recent age of the Hot Tub, spa manufacturers gave little thought to a cover for the spa. They just covered a piece of rigid foam board with vinyl as a way to keep stuff out of the spa. But cheap foam board gets saturated and begins to warp fairly fast if it isn’t reinforced. Especially if it is used to span a wide area that contains hot water. Hot water turns to steam, steam rises. Some of the steam molecules penetrate the foam board and then condenses back into moisture. Before long the moisture fills that foam to the point of saturation. Aside from making the hot tub cover too heavy to lift, the saturated foam offers no insulation since the air spaces the moisture occupies are all gone.

Essentially at this point rigid foam hot tub covers offer the same insulation as a wet piece of plywood. The foam often sags until it comes in contact with the water, forming a huge bowl that catches rain water and dumps it along with all the debris, into your hot tub water.

Hot Tub Cover manufacturers have developed “improved versions of the foam cover by wrapping it with layers of plastic, reinforcing the center edge of the foam board with metal to prevent sagging and saturation.

Did it work? Hot Tub Covers still got too heavy to lift so they were still getting saturated. They still broke, so just putting metal down the edge did little to stop that.

Why do Hot Tub Dealers still only offer more of the same? Henry Ford once gave a new car to the humorist, Will Rogers. Mr. Rogers tried to refuse the gift saying, “you can’t make any money if you give your cars away!” To which Mr. Ford replied, “Not true, with the money I make from selling parts to repair my autos I could afford to give them away.” Think about it for a minute. There have been a few times in history that no new cars were being sold. How did car dealers stay in business? Repairing and replacing parts.

Selling an inferior product to their customers does two things for hot tub dealers… First it adds another way for them to make money after the sale. It also keeps the customer coming back in to the store every couple years. Getting the customer back in the store gives them an opportunity to show off the latest spa models and hopefully sell a few more hot tubs with more bells and whistles.

Unfortunately, this isn’t what always happens. More often than not the hot tub owners get tired of buying the same thing over and over again. When the hot tub cover starts to get heavy, they just use their spa less. Eventually it becomes less a priority. Which is truly sad because spa use is one aspect of a healthy life. It relieves stress to the point where you require less sleep. The sleep you do get is better, more restful after a little water therapy. If you suffer from stiff joints or muscle soreness it can be the key to living a much improved life.

All this because of poorly designed Hot Tub Covers? It would be like giving up your car because your tires got bald. That’s why the SpaCap Hot Tub Covers make so much sense. SpaCap Hot Tub Covers use air to insulate. No foam means no saturation. No rigid foam board means nothing to break or get heavy. SpaCap Spa Covers keep debris out of the spa, insulate better than any foam cover ever could and tend to last a lot longer.
