Hot Tub Gazebos – A Quick Review

Investing in a hot tub can be a big step, but the advantages of having your own personal tub in your backyard is a far greater advantage. That is why purchasing a hot tub gazebo adds to your investment and transforms your backyard into a more beautiful, livable space.

A  gazebo can be built especially for tubs. You can choose to purchase your spa gazebo first, but it is best to fit the gazebo around your existing one. You can easily choose the size you need, as well as any additional features.

If you choose to purchase a  gazebo first, be sure that it is large enough to accompany a wide variety of spas. Some homeowners find that with small gazebos, there is not enough space to comfortably enter and exit the hot tub. To be safe, opt for a gazebo that is at least 10×10 in size.

Many companies sell  gazebo kits, which can be easily put together by the homeowner. Look for companies that sell quality wood, such as a strong red cedar that will stand up to being outdoors. Also note that with most gazebo kits, you will be required to stain and seal the wood upon arrival. This will also need to be done every one to two years in order to keep your gazebo looking its best.

A hot tub gazebo has so many added benefits, including offering privacy and comfort while using it. Choose to put in screens in order to keep bugs out, as well as protect the hot tub against inclement weather conditions.

Also opt for storage organizers and racks that can be added to the gazebo. Towels and other gear can be neatly stored on these and are easy to reach when exiting.

Wooden Hot Tubs Review

The wood tubs are not a new concept; they were used for centuries all over the world. It was during the Second World War that the Americans noticed the wood soaking tubs in Japan. They converted the wooden wine vats into wooden hot tubs. So the Americans experienced the social bathing with wooden hot tubs. Today though acrylic spas are more prevalent, wooden tubs are also being purchased mostly on personal preference. However, there are many reasons for choosing a wooden tub over a plastic spa.

Features of wooden hot tub
1. Wooden tub are assembled on site and can be carried through any door way whether its wide or narrow. There is a greater effect of massaging and buoyancy for the bather as the tub is deep and the vertical walls are bit higher, also more water surrounds the bather. There is also greater leg space so tall bathers are comfortably stretching their legs. The wooden hot tub gives a rustic and traditional appearance to your bathroom.

Natural resistance to decay is a concern while choosing wood for wooden hot tubs. The wood used should be decay resistant and maintain that resistance in warm water. The woods that are mostly used are teak, cedar, cypress and jarrah.

The wooden tubs do not crack, chip or blister like the plastic spa. To clean the wooden tub, drain the water, rinse the tub and scrub using a soft brush. The out side of tub will turn gray if the natural wood is not varnished. So give a finish to the tub as you per direction of an expert.

There is a misconception that wooden tubs harbour bacteria and hazardous to health. Improperly sanitised, both wooden and plastic spas can represent health hazard. So regardless of the material proper sanitation is the key.

Wooden tubs and leakage
Wooden tubs do leak initially for few days after they are assembled. This is so because the wood may expand to its full saturation point. Even after few days the leak continues, it could be due to manufacturing defect or assembling defect. It could also be because of the overuse of water sanitizers like chlorine or bromine. You need to be careful while using these products as they can cause the individual wood cell to shed their lignin leaving only the husks of the cell. The visible sign is the white marks on the walls or the floor of the tub. This substance does build up in the normal course of time, but very slowly if the levels of sanitizers are correct. There are over-counter products that will mend the leaks. Do get the help of the professionals for maintenance or leak prevent tips.

The Review of the Most Beautiful Hot Tubs

Everyone in today’s life aspire to have a good quality hot tub. They are simply the most relaxing and refreshing equipment for everyone after a hard day’s work. In your regular bath tub, you do not get the liberty of having jet steamed water, bubbles and foam. But, in hot tub spa, you’ll be able to get the pleasure of getting full entertaining and enjoyable bath with revived sore muscles.

If you want to buy a customized and friendly bath tub, you need to see what options are available in the market so that you could pick the most comfortable and worthy tub. There are two basic types of hot tub, the self contained and the non self contained.

Self contained hot tubs are popularly known as portable spa or hot tubs. In these tubs, the heating, filtration and electrical systems are included in the exterior of the spa or in the cabinet of the spa. You can place these tubs above ground and also can achieve an “in ground look” by having the self contained hot tub installed into your raised deck. These tubs can be removed easily and can be reinstalled to match the needs and requirements.

Non self contained spas are more permanent and installed in ground. These non self contained spas are usually part of a pool and spa combination and the heating, filtration and electrical systems are located away from the hot tub.

You can find many different sizes and models of spa and hot tub. You can pick up different brands and choose the best that suits your personal taste and preferences. Go find out a local hot tub dealer, talk about your imagination and find something really close to it. Do your research well and find out the best among featured in the market.

A Review Of The Most Common Hot Tubs

Everybody dreams of having a hot tub. They are great for relaxing in after a long day-far superior to a regular bath tub. Regular bath tubs do not typically come with jet streamed water and bubbles and foam. Admit it, right now you were reading about the hot water, bubbles and jets and started wishing you had one of your own. Hot tubs are great for entertaining and for reviving sore muscles.

There are two basic types of hot tub, the self contained and the non self contained.

Self contained hot tubs are sometimes called portable spas. With these, the heating, filtration and electrical systems are contained in the exterior of the spa or in the spa’s cabinet. These are usually installed as “above ground,” but you can easily achieve an “in ground look” by having the self contained hot tub installed into your raised deck. Self contained spas can be moved and reinstalled, should you feel the need to do so.

Non Self Contained spas are installed in ground and are “permanent.” These non self contained spas are usually part of a pool and spa combination and the heating, filtration and electrical systems are located away from the hot tub.

There are many different makes and models of spa and hot tub. There are different brands in different states though there are a number of national brands as well. The most recognizable national brands are Thermospas, Aquatech, Marquis, LA Spas, Hydro Spas, Hot Spring, Doughboy Recreational, Caldera, Cal Spas and Anthony & Sylvan Pools.

The best way to find out which of the different hot tubs brands is the best for you is to compare the common hot tubs that are available in your area. You always want to go with a local dealer because then, if there are ever any problems, you have resources available to you locally. Buying locally also makes the delivery and the installation far less of a headache for you and your family.

Make sure you do your research-while there are far too many different brands available to accurately tell you which brand is the most common (that would vary by location anyway), you can still do research on the various brands available to you. Visit your local hot tub dealers and shops. Gather the information on each of the spas available and then do some research of your own. Perhaps you have friends who have a hot tub or you know of someone who recently purchased one. Talk to them to see what kind they went with and why. Talk to the dealer to find out which kind of hot tub or spa would work best for you.

Buying a hot tub is something that most people dream of doing. While “going hot tubbing” might not sound as classy as it did a couple of decades ago, most people will admit that there is nothing more relaxing than spending some time in their own hot tub at the end of the day.

How does my fantasy story sound? Please review..? I don’t hink my last question showed up..?

“Who’s there?” he asked, his heart racing as the shadow cocked its head and dashed away, shards of wispy smoke rolling off of its bulky body. Daxter shivered and rolled over, looking away from the window as quickly as he could, trying to block the startling image from his thoughts. It was probably just the neighbors… he thought to himself reassuringly, yet the image was still planted firmly there.

He clambered out of bed, the back of his neck damp with sweat after wrestling with the mess of blankets clumped on his bed. He wobbled down the hallway, barely awake, when something brushed his shirt. He froze in place, his back stiff, and spun around- nothing.

He shook his head, running his hands through his thick mane of hair and picked up the telephone absent-mindedly. His fingers began pressing buttons, not of their own accord. While his drowsy mind was still processing what number he’d dialed, someone answered,

“Hello?”

“Karen?”

“Yes?” she asked, in her usual bored, drawling voice. She snapped her blueberry gum on the other side, loud music blaring out, the television announcing the latest football game. Something in the background was sizzling, probably the deep fryer, or a pan laden with melting butter.

“Can I come up later?” he asked nervously, the hair on hs arms raising as goosebumps tricked down his skin in a wave.

“Sure-” she said simply. Daxter somehow knew she was already whipping up some kind of bribe in her head-, “If you bring me some extra money from the jar on top of the microwave,” he heaved a breath. He knew what she wanted the money for…

“I guess, but aren’t we supposed to use it for a-,”

“No time now, I have to get back to waiting tables. Love you,” she puckered her lips and made two kissy-noises through the phone, hanging up before Daxter had a chance to say goodbye.

“Great…” he muttered to himself, “My mouth just asked Karen if I could go to the Cadillac House before consulting my brain first… next thing you know my ears are going to miss her saying, ‘here’s some money for your troubles!’ Like that will ever happen,” he told himself with a snort and wandered aimlessly toward the bathroom, and then the living room, then turning fully around and walking back toward the bedroom.

“That was weird…” he said, furrowing his eyebrows. He stood and mulled over what he was thinking, but nothing seemed to cross his mind. He thought perhaps a hot shower would help clear his stuffed up mind. Yes, that’s it. It was probably just the flu or something.

Turning the cold shower handle slightly with an eerie squeak, something was wrong… no water was coming out. Something seemed to be plugging it. He craned his neck over the side of the bathtub and peeked up at the showerhead. Each of the holes were empty and dark. Then, somethin began to drip out of the head. A long, gooey string of black ooze, dripped down closer and closer to his face, as if it were stretching out to reach his skin.

His eyes widened and he backed up, the black goo falling into the bathtub with a splat. He rubbed his eyes, blinking, and when he looked again, the string was bubbling, black bubbles popping against the bathtub, splattering the creme colored tub with a thin layer of elastic muck that looked like a liquid shadow.

“What the-,” he bent down to get a better look, the goo bubbling and popping. Suddenly something yanked his shirt collar backward and he fell over, the goo flinging itself in a suicidal leap down the drain, squeezing itself through the holes. Daxter rubbed his head that smashed into the door frame and sat up slowly, staring curiously at the perfectly clean bathtub that seemed to pick itself clean of the muck.

What’s even stranger is that when he turned the silver shower handle on, crystal clear water came sputtering out, tapping the plastic floor like a thousand fingertips. He furrowed his eyebrows and decided maybe he could do without a shower- just for today.

I just wrote it. I have anotehr question just like this one, but I don’t think it showed up. Well if it did I can’t see it.

Thanks for answering in advance, I appreciate it ^-^

Rate and review first page of my book?

wait i know it doesnt have paragraphs but stilll just read and review please.

Brooke Marquis stood in front of her full-length mirror checking out her ensemble for the big game. The Raiders have had a great season so far, and Brooke has been to every game, cheering them on with her best friends; Eden, Jordan, and Zoe, Jordan being the one enjoying the games the most, as she was sportiest of the four friends. The other girls go to the basketball games only to look at and rate the boys on the team. Brooke secretly really wanted The Raiders to win because of her best- guy –friend Nathen was on the team. Her outfit consisted of dark-wash skinny jeans, navy ballet top (navy being the school colors), jacket-Hoody from Aeropostale, and Gucci’s newest shoe the “Strappies”. She was sure to please as she always did. Brooke stepped out of the aloe-foot-bath mix that she had gotten from Bed Bath Beyond when she and her friends went to the mall, onto what seemed like a runway of towels leading to her bathroom (ivory as her room was) with white-as-snow counter, tile, bathtub, and shower. She carefully patted dry her feet; if she were to rub them with a towel it would make skin on her feet and ankles wrinkle and sag. She then slipped on the “Strappies” and was ready to go to the game. “Brooke”, said a smooth, man, voice from the black speaker (the only color in her all-white room) “ I’m going to send your friends up there. Are you decent?” Brooke pressed in the black button, “Yeah just send them up Mark, thanks” Mark was the Marquis’s Butler/ Driver. He was old but he didn’t show it with his fitted suit he wears every day on the job. Brooke has often thought about how many suits he owns seeing that he wears that outfit seven days a week. Her friends busted through her door and all said hey or hi at slightly different times. Eden Lowe, being the fashion czar looked at Brooke’s outfit and nodded in complete approval. Zoe complemented her on her outfit then quickly went back to eating her South Beach diet meal. “ Z why are you sooo worried about your weight, your hawt!” said Brooke “ Brooke look at this”, she said lifting the tail of her shirt and pinching her “Barely There Belly” “ I am in need of losing, like, at least 10 pounds if I want to fit into ANYTHING in the Aero sale Monday” “ Whatev Z shut up you look fine!” added Jordan than went back to talking to Eden about something that Brooke was oblivious of, trying to focus on her outfit and Zoe. Sometimes Brooke wondered if Zoe looked at the magazine’s photo shopped models with spray tans, and fake abs and felt insecure. She quickly shook off those thoughts, because NO ONE in the group was ever insecure. Everyone was pretty, had friends and family, had money. What Else? Brooke heard a loud eruption of laughs coming from across her solid white room. “What Happened?” Brooke giggle shouted. “I think Eden has officially lost her mind!” Jordan Yelled “She is actually thinking about saying yes to Chayse Wilson’s offer to go out with her!” Brooke was not surprised at this. She knew how Chayse worked. First he would use Eden to get Abby Cross (head cheerleader) jealous. Once she was, he would just leave Eden out in the cold. And then the cycle would continue over and over. “Eden, Chayse is a creep!” Yelled Zoe in between bites of her meal. “Yeah Eden he uses you more than a towel after a long soak in the hot tub.” Said Brooke. Brooke really wanted to get the discussion off of Eden and onto something else.
